The SR.com homepage needed to be updated and reflect a more organized and modern financial platform.

What were the platforms or constraints? This project had a shortened time frame to research, explore solutions, test, and then define. 

Results

Provided B2C and B2B users with a cleaner interface that logically grouped information and added important financial information

The Process

With this epic the following process was used:
Understand:
Used internal focus groups to understand the challenges our current homepage presented.

Research: Analyzed internal data, and used Fidelity, TD Ameritrade, and other financial platforms for competitive analysis.

Design: Used data and UI research to develop a HF wireframe. 

Rinse and Repeat: Using the feedback from the internal groups we further refined the wireframes 

for approval and development. 

The Research

What did you do?
I lead conversations with internal SMEs to understand what the requirements were for updating the homepage.  

Using competitive analysis also reinforced internal design decisions it also spurred new ideas for our homepage.

What was the result?
Feedback From some of our users
•  Love the clean and organized look of the new homepage
• The addition of the Portfolio section is a nice touch. Gives me an instant overview of how my portfolio is doing in the market.
