What was your role? Supported the UX lead with flows, UI, and testing
What was the timeline of the project? 8 months
What were the platforms or constraints? Lack of time to perform external user research, technical limitations due to being built on older framework. Agile squad was still forming processes and learning how to function.  

Results

Even without proper UX research, we received positive feedback from external users on ease of use and how it improved their work.

The Process

With this epic the following process was used:

Understand: Used internal focus groups to understand the challenges and benefits

Research: Analyzed internal data, researched best practices for UI checklists

Design: Used data and UI research to develop a flexible UI pattern that can be added to, brings modern touches to the application that isn’t disruptive to the prior UI 

The Research

What did you do?

Working with UX lead and internal SMEs to understand what the requirements were for adding multiple drivers. We had to provide solutions to complex verification and approval scenarios as there could be errors within errors requiring data updates.

What was the result?
We provided a comprehensive solution that integrated UI enhancements and patterns aimed at making this process easier.

Some enhancements:

• Endless scrolling 

• Consistent CTA and tone of voice

• Simplified homepage allowing the user to quickly get started with a new upload or find and work on an exiting upload
